Dylan Ray is BlackWolf Room.
He went to school at a well known Audio Engineering School, interned at Premier Studios NYC, worked as a Staff Engineer at Treelady Studios, and then moved home to Cincinnati to start BlackWolf Room. He had a cool, unique pandemic idea (like everyone else) to pack up his studio and move to Nashville and start over, so he did in late 2021.
He is also a skilled Woodworker/Cabinetmaker. He is very likely covered in sawdust of some sort right this second if he doesn’t have a microphone in his hand. Custom cabinetry, furniture, guitars, drums, studio treatments, microphones, preamps, effects pedals, etcetera. He builds nice stuff.
